Parent Town Hall POSTPONED

Dear Cumberland County Community Supporter,

The Parent Town Hall Event, scheduled for October 24th, 2017, at the Partnership for Children has been POSTPONED. After reviewing the number of pre-registered attendees, it has been determined that it is best to postpone this event to a later date. The NCYC initiative appreciates your support during “Let’s Talk Month” and looks forward to seeing you at future events.

Cumberland County Supports NC Youth Connected's Approach to Teen Pregnancy Prevention

Program Provides Health Educators To Help Reduce Teen Pregnancy Rate

The Cumberland County Department of Public Health will get two health educator positions as part of the North Carolina Youth Connected project to address teen pregnancy in Cumberland and Onslow counties. A funding amount of $508,267 over five years will pay for the salary and benefits of the two educator positions.
